Join us at the 2023 Household, Income and Labour Dynamics (HILDA) Survey Research Conference. There is still time to register.

The Household, Income and Labour Dynamics (HILDA) survey is a world-renowned study and one of its kind in Australia. It’s Australia’s only nationally representative longitudinal household study that tells the stories of the same group of Australians over the course of their lives.

The survey collects information on many aspects of life in Australia, including household and family relationships, income and employment, and health and education.

With 21 years of HILDA survey data now available, the conference will provide the latest research into how living in Australia in the 21st century has changed over time.

This year’s conference is a unique opportunity to discuss these findings and explore the factors that drive that change.

The conference program features a compelling line up of guest speakers, world experts, academics and policy makers who will share their insights across a range of topics and policy areas.

The HILDA Conference will be held at the University of Melbourne over two days. The event is hosted by the Melbourne Institute and proudly supported by the Department of Social Services.

The HILDA Survey is funded by the Australian Government through the Department of Social Services.
