  • Social Policy Research Paper series 
    Produced between 2000 and 2017, this series provided data and analysis from major research projects and evaluations.
  • Statistical Paper Series
    Produced between 2002 and 2013, this series provides authoritative and reliable data on customer numbers and the department's longitudinal data collections for policy makers and researchers. 
  • Australian Social Policy Journal
    Produced between 1999 and 2011, this journal contains articles on social policy research and analysis.
  • FaHCSIA Research News
    Produced between 1999 and 2010, this content provided an overview of and update on research within FaHCSIA, focusing on key findings and outcomes, updates on new departmental publications and promotion of forthcoming events/conferences.
  • Research FaCS Sheet Series
    Produced between 1999 and 2002, this series contained brief overviews of key issues relevant to the then Family and Community Services (FaCS) portfolio.
  • Policy Research Series
    Published between 1981 and 1999, this series was superseded by the Social Policy Research Paper series in 2000. 
  • Technical Series
    Published in 1994 and 1998, this series was superseded by the Social Policy Research Paper in 2000.
  • Social Security Journal 
    Produced between 1992 and 1998, this journal contained a range of articles on social security issues and trends. It was renamed Australian Social Policy Journal in 1998 to reflect the broader policy outlook of the former FaCS.
  • Policy Discussion Paper Series 
    Published between 1993 and 1997, this series was superseded by the Social Policy Research Paper in 2000.
