Grants to showcase the benefits of philanthropic partnerships

5 Apr 2017 - 08:30

Community organisations and their philanthropic or business partners can now apply for up to $10,000 to demonstrate their successful partnerships during Community and Philanthropy Partnerships Week from 20-26 November 2017.

Minister for Social Services, Christian Porter in announcing the $160,000 grant round open, said the Week highlights how collaboration between business, philanthropists and community advances our culture of philanthropy and volunteering.

The grants will enable community groups to bring to life this year’s theme of ‘building stronger communities together’ through the production of activities such as books, films and exhibitions and events. The Week also provides opportunities to share knowledge and best practice, and to strengthen or develop new relationships and partnerships.

Community and Philanthropy Partnerships Week is an initiative of the Prime Minister’s Community Business Partnership and is delivered by Philanthropy Australia, in partnership with the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal.

Applications close on 12 May 2017.
