In 2013, funding was provided under the Commonwealth Government’s National Research Agenda for Protecting Children 2011-2014, to the Secretariat for National Aboriginal and Islander National Child Care (SNAICC) for a two-year project aimed at developing knowledge about the quality and effectiveness of community-controlled intensive or targeted family support services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and their children.
