Third Action Plan Consultation Report

Sixteen national roundtables were convened between April and May 2016 to test and refine priorities and actions under the Third Action Plan of the National Plan to Reduce Violence against Women and their Children 2010-2022. These roundtables were attended by approximately 380 stakeholders including non government organisations, academics and businesses. Roundtable participants represented the violence against women sector, disability sector, culturally and linguistically diverse people and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The roundtables took place across a range of settings including metropolitan and rural, remote and regional locations. Following the roundtables, an independent report summarising key themes and areas of discussion from the sixteen roundtables was produced.
