Families and Children Activity Administrative Approval Requirements

The Families and Children Administrative Approval Requirements are a set of quality service standards, covering the key risk areas of governance, financial management, viability, performance management and issues management. If specified under the terms of their grant agreement, service providers must comply with the Families and Children Administrative Approval Requirements.

As a quality assurance framework, ongoing self-assessment against the Approval Requirements will provide DSS, staff of the organisations, and families accessing services, with assurance that quality services are being delivered and staff are supported. Funded organisations may also be externally assessed against the Approval Requirements.
