First Action Plan Activities Addendum
The First Action Plan 2023-2027 Activities Addendum update (Activities Addendum) outlines progress against the 10 actions of the First Action Plan 2023-2027. We will update the Activities Addendum each year to show progress towards ending gender-based violence.
The 2025 Activities Addendum provides an update on each activity from the beginning of the National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children 2022-2032 (National Plan) in 2022 to 30 June 2025.
About the activities
Australian, state and territory governments are undertaking activities to achieve the goals of the National Plan.
The Activities Addendum reports on activities funded by all Australian governments under the National Plan.
There are 583 activities as of 30 June 2025. Of these activities:
- 79 (14%) are in planning
- 221 (38%) are current
- 171 (29%) are ongoing
- 112 (19%) are finished.
122 new activities were added in the 2025 update.
