Approval to run marriage education programs

The Minister for Social Services can approve an organisation to conduct marriage education programs under the Marriage Act 1961(Opens in a new tab/window).

Note that this pre-approval does not mean we endorse providers or their marriage education. 

Nor does it automatically endorse an organisation as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DRG). Organisations still need to apply for DGR status with the Australian Taxation Office(Opens in a new tab/window) (ATO).
