Video case studies 

We engaged Just Gold(Opens in a new tab/window) to produce some video stories about social enterprises. Just Gold are a creative agency and a social enterprise. The videos highlight the diverse ways social enterprises support their communities. Their stories showcase their work and how a SEDI grant is helping to increase their impact.

Ability Enterprises

Ability Enterprises is a not-for-profit, work-focused social enterprise based in Queensland. They provide employment to people living in the Darling Downs region who need support to re-enter the workforce. The SEDI grant is helping them to develop a social impact measurement framework and 5-year strategy so they can provide more jobs for people in need.

HoMie

HoMie is a streetwear label, not-for-profit and social enterprise based in Melbourne. They support young people who are affected by homelessness and hardship to be better prepared for their futures. The SEDI grant is helping HoMie scale their programs to reach more young people in need over the next 5 years.

ReLove

ReLove is a not-for-profit social enterprise and registered charity based in Sydney. They help people who are starting over after experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, or incarceration to rebuild their lives. They provide rescued high-quality furniture and homewares that have been diverted from landfill. People make their selections from ReLove’s warehouse store and ReLove deliver and help them set up their new homes. The SEDI grant is helping ReLove with impact reporting and business planning for future growth.

SisterWorks

SisterWorks is a not-for-profit social enterprise based in Victoria. They support migrant, refugee and asylum seeker women to be job-ready. They do this by building the women’s confidence and skills through training and work experience. The SEDI grant is helping SisterWorks to scale its impact and provide essential experience and economic empowerment to more women each year.
