Disability Employment Services (DES) data provided a range of information about program participants. We get this data through our IT systems.
We collected data about:
- activities
- events
- demographics
- other available information.
This data has been de-identified. This means no one can be identified through the personal, health or disability information collected.
Reports
DES reports are available on data.gov.au(Opens external website). You can search for ‘Disability Employment Services’ or go directly to the data and reports on this page.
Monthly profile
This report had key program data for the DES program. It includes the Disability Management Service (DMS) and Employment Support Service (ESS).
The report provided aggregated data on:
- referrals
- commencements
- exits
- caseload
- program outcomes for the last five years.

Targeted Compliance Framework
This report had information about the Targeted Compliance Framework (TCF), as it applied to program participants.
The TCF relates to participants on the income support payment who needed to meet mutual obligations requirements.
Outcome rates by disability type
This report provided information about the performance of DES providers in each Employment Services Area by primary disability groupings. It aimed to help people with disability, family, carers or others choose a DES provider.
Caseload and commencements data
This report contained DES commencement and caseload data by geographic regions.
It included caseload and initial commencement data by:
- participant demographics
- program type
- Labour Market Region (LMR)
- Employment Service Area (ESA)
- participant postcode.

An Employment Service Area (ESA) is a defined geographic area used for administering DES.
