We are seeking expressions of interest to join the new Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Advisory Council (DFSV Advisory Council).
The DFSV Advisory Council will provide independent advice to the Minister for Social Services on the effectiveness of the National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children 2022-2032 (National Plan).
The role involves providing strategic advice and guidance including:
- advice on the effectiveness of measures and overall impact of the National Plan
- advice on practical, evidence-based solutions to strengthen implementation of the National Plan
- guidance on new and emerging evidence on DFSV.
Membership of the new council will consist of individuals selected for their expertise through a merit-based process and is a chance to shape national efforts addressing DFSV.
By listening and working together, the council will drive meaningful change towards a future free of DFSV.
