This activity is part of a broader activity to improve workforce capability to deliver quality services to veterans and their families.
Implementation progress update
In June 2023, the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) provided contemporary content for the Health Provider Webpage outlining service offerings for veterans and veteran families experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, family and domestic violence.
This content is accessed by general practitioners and primary health care providers for DVA clients, veterans and families who access services through the community. DVA has reviewed and updated these resources in June 2024 to ensure content is contemporary and trauma-informed, which are available here: Treating a veteran in crisis.
