Providing therapeutic interventions, including age-appropriate therapies, for children and young people.
This activity is part of a broader activity to address gaps in the service system through tailored supports to children and young people experiencing family violence or using violence.
Implementation progress update
There are 23 organisations funded across Victoria to deliver therapeutic interventions focused on healing and recovery for children and young people. Activities include play, art and music therapies, and child-parent attachment therapy for younger children.
In May 2025 under the Women and Safety Packages initiatives, Family Safety Victoria has allocated funding to 7 existing funded providers to deliver additional therapeutic interventions for children and young people.
