Develop a Technology-Facilitated Abuse (TFA) Support Service for frontline workers and the victim-survivors they support.

Implementation progress update

The eSafety Commissioner's Technology-Facilitated Abuse (TFA) Support Service assists frontline workers and family, domestic and sexual violence (FDSV) services in navigating and responding to the complexities of TFA-FDSV. Telephone-based support launched in March 2025. eSafety operates a dedicated phone line for frontline workers to contact, operating during business hours, Monday to Friday.

In conjunction with the launch of the telephone-based support, eSafety also published new resources for frontline workers, building on our TFA-FDSV web-based information hub published in October 2024. The information hub, available on eSafety's website collates relevant eSafety TFA information and resources for frontline workers and their clients. It also includes an online enquiry form for frontline workers to request support. For more information see Technology-facilitated abuse.

New content published in March 2025 included step-by-step guides for frontline workers providing practical steps to help manage TFA and identify where a client might be most vulnerable to digital tracking, harassment and surveillance. For more information see Support service resources.
