Activity details

$3.8 million over 2 years for Teach Us Consent to support the development and distribution of social media resources on consent, and a youth-led expert advisory group.

This activity is part of a broader activity to support people of all ages to develop safe and healthy relationships, shift community attitudes, and challenge the condoning of all forms of violence through awareness raising and educational initiatives.

Implementation progress update

A grant agreement with Teach Us Consent was signed in February 2024 for the Promoting Consent Initiative (PCI).

Under the PCI, Teach Us Consent has developed and distributed trauma-informed and age-appropriate social media resources for young people aged 16 years and above. These resources are about consent, sexual harm and healthy sexual relationships to help young people to better understand consent and healthy relationships.

Teach Us Consent launched the PCI resources on 26 May 2025.
