Two Darling Downs women's support services funded to continue for 4 years.
Implementation progress update
Four years of funding ($3.544 million) was announced for Protea Place Women’s Support Centre in Toowoomba and WillowTree 37 to continue to assist women in need, including those at risk of homelessness and fleeing abuse.
The services support vulnerable women in the Darling Downs region by providing advocacy and referrals for women experiencing or recovering from domestic and family violence, as well as those at risk of homelessness, or struggling with mental health and other health issues.
