Strengthening workforce capacity by supporting staff to engage meaningfully and respectfully with people with lived experience of family violence.
This activity is part of a broader activity to work with people who have lived experience to shape a system that meets the needs of the people that use it. This will be done under the Family Violence Lived Experience Strategy.
Implementation progress update
Under the Family Violence Lived Experience Strategy, workforce guidance has been developed for Victorian Government staff to utilise when engaging with people with lived experience of family violence through the family violence reforms.
Family Safety Victoria maintains a collection of publicly available resources that showcase lived experience initiatives in Victoria to promote best practice and share innovative ideas and information.
