Implementation progress update
The Office for Women SA (OFW) monitors the SA Government's progress of the Women's Equality Blueprint actions. The Women's Equality Blueprint is available at SA Women's Equality Blueprint.
OFW leads 25 actions, including the action 'Develop a Gender Equality Bill'. For more information see this separate activity.
The SA Government has completed 48 of 57 actions. The remaining 9 are in progress. OFW expects the final action, 'building of the New Women's and Children's Hospital,' will be complete in 2030-31.
The SA Government is making progress towards the Blueprint action to 'ensure all boards and committees comprise at least 50% women.'
