The South Australian Women of Impact Awards (Awards) aims to formally recognise and raise the profile of the outstanding service and significant contributions of women in South Australia (SA). The Awards acknowledge and celebrate the diversity of women in our community and their commitment to effecting change to ensure that we live in a safer and more equitable society.
Implementation progress update
The Awards is a refresh of the SA Women's Honour Roll. The Awards aim to formally recognise and raise the profile of the outstanding service and the significant contributions of women in South Australia.
The Awards will be held annually and will consist of 4 categories including Impact in Industry Award, Impact in the Community Award, Aboriginal Impact Award and Impact on Ending Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Award. Nominations for the Awards opened on March 8 2025 to coincide with International Women's Day and closed on June 8 2025. Office for Women received 107 nominations for the Awards across the 4 categories. Winners will be announced at a ceremony at Government House on 22 September.
