Review legislation on consent to sexual activity to ensure it protects victims of unwanted sexual activity and reflects community expectations.
Implementation progress update
A review of sexual consent laws in South Australia has been undertaken by Attorney-General's Department.
The resulting discussion paper was released on YourSAy for consultation between 13 December 2023 and 12 February 2024. A copy of the discussion paper can be found at Review of consent laws in South Australia - YouSAy.
The consultation engagement is currently under review and evaluation.
