Implementation progress update

Yarrow Place, the lead public health agency responding to rape and sexual assault in South Australia, in partnership with the University of South Australia is undertaking a research project which seeks to understand barriers to reporting and help-seeking for people who have experienced sexual violence. This component of the research was delivered in May 2025. The project has been extended to undertake further research regarding the experiences of First Nations people to inform culturally responsive and safe service delivery. The second stage of the project is scheduled for delivery in early 2026.
