Ratifying the International Labour Organization Convention 190 (Violence and Harassment Convention).
This activity is part of a broader activity to create safer, respectful, and more equitable workplaces across Australia by providing $42.5 million to fully implement all 55 recommendations of the Respect@Work report.
Implementation progress update
Australia ratified International Labour Organization Convention 190 (Violence and Harassment Convention) on 9 June 2023.
This saw Australia adopt an international standard of a zero-tolerance approach to violence and harassment in the workplace.
