Qualitative research to understand the high prevalence of reported sexual harassment amongst LGBTIQA+ employees.

This activity is part of a broader activity to implement a program of work under the Equity and Respect Framework that will support the NSW public sector to prevent and address sexual harassment in the workplace.

Implementation progress update

In 2023, the Gendered Violence Research Network at the University of New South Wales completed qualitative research on the lived experiences of LGBTIQ+ public service employees in relation to sexual harassment.

The findings of this research are available to NSW public sector employees via the Office of the Public Service Commissioner.
