Activity details
Two sites are trialling co-responses to domestic and family violence (DFV) incidents, with Queensland Police Service officers joining DFV specialists to respond in real time.
Implementation progress update
Brisbane South was chosen as the second location for a mobile co-response trial between Queensland Police Service (QPS) and DFV specialists to jointly attend DFV calls for service. Relationships Australia Queensland partnered with QPS to implement the first co-response trial in Cairns in July 2024. Both trials are part of a broader $22.9 million pilot program that will run until 30 September 2026.
