Development of a pilot workplace sexual harassment prevention training package for managers. The training will educate managers on how to prevent sexual harassment in their workplaces and respond to sexual harassment in a trauma-informed, person-centred approach.
This activity is part of a broader activity to implement a program of work under the Equity and Respect Framework that will support the NSW public sector to prevent and address sexual harassment in the workplace.
Implementation progress update
In August 2024, the Office of the Public Service Commissioner released a sexual harassment prevention training package for agencies to implement. The training consists of an eLearning module and resources for a supplementary workshop, targeted at people managers. The content focuses on prevention and response to sexual harassment in the workplace, taking a trauma-informed, person-centred approach.
