Activity details
Funding the Australian Bureau of Statistics to conduct the Personal Safety Survey.
This activity is part of a broader activity to build the evidence base on experiences of gender-based violence, including for diverse communities and populations.
Implementation progress update
The last Personal Safety Survey (PSS) was conducted in 2021–2022. For more information including the results see Personal Safety, Australia, 2021-22 financial year. The Australian Bureau of Statistics is working towards a future iteration of the survey. Results of the next PSS are expected to be available from mid-2027.
