Activity details
Designing an online reporting pathway model for victim-survivors of sexual violence in Victoria.
This activity is part of a broader activity to improve recognition, reporting pathways and responses to sexual violence.
Implementation progress update
The Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) is leading this project, in collaboration with Victoria Police, Sexual Assault Services Victoria and Family Safety Victoria.
DJCS engaged a team of academics on alternative reporting pathway options, led by the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), to provide expert policy advice, conduct consultation and develop options for an Online Reporting Pathway. Options for the design phase of the project are currently being considered following the delivery of the RMIT scoping report.
