Develop a NSW cross-agency NSW Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Data Strategy to guide data collection, performance monitoring and reporting.
Implementation progress update
The NSW Department of Communities and Justice has developed a Domestic Family and Sexual Violence (DFSV) Data Strategy in collaboration with key government and non-government stakeholders. The DFSV Data Strategy identifies 10 priorities to enhance the measurement of outcomes, monitor and improve services, and better understand need and demand. The NSW Government has funded the DFSV Data Strategy for one year through the 2025-26 NSW Budget. This funding will begin key foundational actions under the DFSV Data Strategy and look to operationalise elements of the strategy over financial year 2025-26.
