Activity details
Launch a new state-wide strategy that includes actions from a range of agencies to respond to domestic, family and sexual violence (DFSV). This strategy will align with and support the delivery of actions under the National Plan and the Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence Responses (FDSVR) 2021-23 component of the FDSVR 2021-2030 Schedule under the Federation Funding Agreement – Affordable Housing, Community Services and Other.
Implementation progress update
South Australia's new state-wide strategy will be informed by the recommendations from the Royal Commission into Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence (Royal Commission).
The Royal Commission is looking into 4 key themes: Prevention, early intervention, response, and recovery and healing. It is also looking into how efforts are co-ordinated across government, sector and community, and how these efforts incorporate the lived experience insights of victim-survivors and frontline workers. More information on the Royal Commission can be found here: Royal Commission into Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence.
