Activity details
Department of Human Services (DHS) Safer Family Services (SFS) practitioners will be co-located in the Women's Safety Services SA-led Northern Adelaide Multi-Agency Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) Hub from June 2025. The co-location enables both DHS SFS and Women's Safety Services SA to better support children and women who are living with DFV.
Implementation progress update
Initial implementation has 2 DHS SFS practitioners co-located in the Northern Multi-Agency DFV hub 2 days per week.
To date, the co-location has resulted in agencies working together to identify mutual clients and share information under the Information Sharing Guidelines to inform safety work with children and women. It has enabled a connected service response and the sharing of expertise between government and non-government agencies.
