Developing child and young person focused Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management Framework (MARAM) Practice Guides and tools to provide comprehensive guidance on assessing and managing risk and wellbeing.
This activity is part of a broader activity to address gaps in the service system through tailored supports to adolescents experiencing family violence or using violence.
Implementation progress update
The new child and young person-focused MARAM Practice Guides and tools are in development and will undergo a final consultation process in July to September 2025. These resources are anticipated to be launched in early 2026.
These resources will build on existing MARAM guidance and tools for working with children and young people, both as victim-survivors in their own right and as young people using family violence in the home and in dating/intimate relationships.
