The provision of legal assistance to services for women experiencing domestic and family violence (DFV). This is particularly in relation to assistance with private intervention orders.
Implementation progress update
The Women's Domestic Violence Court Assistance Service provides expert and specialist information, legal advice and legal representation to women navigating the court system with difficult or complex DFV matters. This is for matters that fall outside the remit and/or expertise of other Commonwealth and State funded DFV legal services in South Australia.
