Activity details
Increase legal assistance for marginalised victim-survivors of family violence, particularly multicultural and First Nations women, and women misidentified as primary family violence aggressors or in custody.
Implementation progress update
Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service, Djirra, the Law and Advocacy Centre for Women, and the inTouch Multicultural Centre Against Family Violence will uplift existing legal assistance services that support marginalised, multicultural and First Nations women with family violence matters. This is particularly so where women have been misidentified as the primary family violence aggressor or are in custody.
