Trial an early intervention program delivered by Kornar Winmil Yunti Aboriginal Corporation (KWY), for Aboriginal male adolescents called Wuinparrinthi 'To challenge each other' under the Collaborative Intervention Partnership.
This activity aims to ensure design and delivery of services are First Nations led.
Implementation progress update
The program Wuinparrinthi 'To challenge each other' is delivered by KWY under the Collaborative Intervention Partnership. Wuiparrinthi is a culturally appropriate youth prevention program for Aboriginal male adolescents who have displayed violent behaviour or are identified as being inclined towards violent behaviour. Supports are delivered one-on-one and within groups, using a client-centred, family engagement and flexible approach.
