Activity details
ACT public schools transitioned to the Australian Curriculum version 9.0 in 2024. This curriculum includes the Health and Physical Education learning areas that explicitly address the role of gender, power, coercion, and disrespect in abusive or violent relationships and the issue of consent. The Education Directorate will work with community when developing professional supports for the teaching of Relationships and Sex Education to ensure it is culturally safe, appropriate, and respectful.
