Activity details
Funding the Good Samaritan Inn (GSI) Partnership project.
This activity is part of a broader activity to provide a holistic approach to meeting victim-survivors’ short, medium and long term accommodation needs and reducing the risks of homelessness for victim-survivors.
Implementation progress update
The 2022-23 State Budget provided a total of $2.4 million grant funding in 2022-23 towards partnership proposals including by GSI and to repurpose existing agency owned infrastructure for refuge and crisis accommodation.
GSI has commenced developing a site with 10 units of crisis and transitional housing. The facility is scheduled to commence operations in 2025-26.
