Activity details
The Commonwealth owns a number of national frameworks and strategies that intersect and share common outcomes to end violence against women and girls. Funding of $0.5 million has been committed in 2024-25 to commission the Australian Institute for Family Studies (AIFS) to identify common outcomes across national strategies to provide advice to the Department of Social Services (DSS) on priority areas for investment, joint efforts, and collaboration.
Implementation progress update
AIFS has finalised work for Phase 2 of the project by mapping the initiatives that come under 3 national strategies against the common outcomes. Thery are currently formalising the final the project report, which will be submitted to DSS.
