Implementation progress update
Following an open grant opportunity, Life Without Barriers was selected to deliver the FMSSP nationally. Life Without Barriers is receiving $9.354 million in funding from 2024-25 to 2027-28 to deliver the program. The program commenced on 2 January 2025, and is already seeing a significant number of people accessing support.
From 2 January 2025 to 30 June 2025, 64 people were referred to the program. This includes 28 forced marriage clients who completed their transition from the Support for Trafficked People Program to the FMSSP.
