Implementation progress update
The Tasmanian Government's first Victim-Survivor Advisory Council was established as an ongoing voice of victim-survivors of family and sexual abuse.
In September 2024, members of the Family and Sexual Violence Victim-Survivor Advisory Council (Advisory Council) participated in induction activities and advocacy training. The training provided forms part of an ongoing effort to equip members with the skills, knowledge and support necessary to effectively engage in Advisory Council activities.
The Advisory Council’s inaugural meeting was held on 28 November 2024.
