2023–24 Budget Measure - Implement additional funding of $157 million from 2023-25 to bolster frontline family, domestic and sexual violence supports to ensure women and children can access support when they need it. This will be done through establishing a new component to the Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence (FDSV) Responses Schedule under a Federation Funding Agreement in partnership with state and territory governments.
Implementation progress update
All states and territories have signed and executed the FDSV Responses 2023-25 multilateral agreement. All states and territories have finalised their project plans to administer funding, which have been agreed by the Australian Government. All states and territories have received all payments under the 2023-25 payment schedule.
The evaluation of the FDSV Responses 2021‑27 commenced in April 2024 and will be finalised by 31 July 2025.
