Activity details
Fund the Family Violence Safety Action Program which includes a Perpetrator Response Advisor whose role assists with the coordination of service system responses and intervention with high-risk perpetrators.
Implementation progress update
The 2025-26 Budget allocated $8.2 million over 4 years for the Family Violence Safety Action Program (FVSAP) to continue to support victims and families at the highest levels of risk from domestic and family violence with a collaborative, intensive case coordination approach. In the 2024-25 Budget, the ACT Government provided additional funding to FVSAP under its expanded model to continue the Perpetrator Response Advisor role. The model focuses on shifting focus towards the perpetrator’s behaviour, to support greater accountability and visibility and to improve victim-survivor safety.
