Fund the Family Violence Safety Action Program to provide intensive case management, supervision, and engagement with victim-survivors including connecting them with support services and working closely with support services to ensure a collaborative case management response.
Implementation progress update
Through the 2025-26 Budget, the Family Violence Safety Action Program was allocated $8.180 million over 4 years to continue to support victims and families at the highest levels of risk from domestic and family violence with a collaborative, intensive case coordination approach. This includes $6.774 million for frontline workers at Victim Support ACT to provide intensive case coordination between government and non-government agencies. $1.406 million is to fund the Domestic Violence Crisis Service to contribute 2 workers to the program.
