Develop and enable a family and domestic violence (FDV) screening tool to improve service offerings on FDV in veterans and their families.
Implementation progress update
A pilot FDV Screening tool was developed and tested to assist frontline service delivery staff to improve the identification of FDV concerns for veteran families at the earliest possible touchpoint. This aims to enable earlier intervention and enhance safety.
The pilot was completed and closed in May 2024. The outcomes of the pilot are currently being investigated to inform the development of future tools and risk screening mechanisms.
