Establishing 3 new senior counsellor roles to support children and young people.
This activity is part of a broader activity to support the long-term recovery and wellbeing of children and young people who have experienced family and domestic violence. It forms part of an initiative announced by the WA Government in December 2024 to provide $8.23 million over 4 years (to 2027-28) to design and pilot a suite of services for children and young people impacted by family and domestic violence.

Expansion of existing services with 3 new Senior Counsellor roles
An Expression of Interest (EOI) was released on Tenders WA on 6 May 2025 to expand 3 existing family and domestic violence services by adding Children and Young People Senior Counsellor roles. The EOI closed on 4 June 2025, and the procurement process is in its final stages.
