Implementation progress update
Angela Wright Bennett Centre: Perth CBD
The Angela Wright Bennett Centre is a seven-story purpose-built facility in Perth’s CBD. It is a state-of-the-art healing and recovery centre for women, with or without accompanying children, who are affected by family and domestic violence. It offers safe accommodation (13 units) alongside a One Stop Hub, providing a range of services to support families to recover and re-establish their lives. The State Government announced funding of over $20 million to operate the service, which commenced from September 2024 for the safe accommodation and the One Stop Hub started operating from October 2024 for the Hub. This brings the total number of One Stop Hubs operating in Western Australia to 5 , with Mirrabooka and Kalgoorlie Hubs established in 2020. An independent evaluation has been commissioned and is underway. For more information see Family and Domestic Violence One Stop Hubs.
