Fund Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander led organisations to establish specific services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women affected by domestic, family and sexual violence in support of the implementation of Recommendation 4 of the We Don’t Shoot Our Wounded… report.
Implementation progress update
The 2025-26 ACT Budget includes further investment from 2026-27 to continue domestic, family and sexual violence programs delivered by ACT Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs) through to 2028-29. These services include intensive case management, wraparound support for women and children, prevention and healing programs, and individual and systemic advocacy.
