Activity details
Pilot the establishment of two multi-disciplinary centres providing survivor‑centred integrated responses to family and sexual violence.
Implementation progress update
Arch provides a safe and supportive environment for people affected by sexual harm resulting from sexual violence. Services and organisations work together under one roof to deliver coordinated, trauma-informed, and victim-centred support. Service providers include specialist counsellors, family violence workers, child safety officers, and Tasmania Police.
Following the successful trial of Arch in Launceston and Hobart in 2023, a third centre is under development during 2025 in the North-West of Tasmania. The Tasmanian Government committed ongoing operational funding to support the continued delivery of the services across all 3 Arch Centres.
