Activity details

Establish a domestic, family and sexual violence (DFSV) Resource Centre to develop, broker, deliver and coordinate DFSV training across the Northern Territory for government and non-government workers, and to build consistent workforce capability tailored to local needs.

Implementation progress update

Consultation on the DFSV Resource Centre model was undertaken in 2023 with further development of the project re-commencing in June 2025.

In the interim, DFSV training for workers across the sector is provided through the Risk Assessment and Management Framework training, the development of the Prevent, Assist and Respond Training, and support of training delivered through Dawn House and Women's Safety Services of Central Australia's community education officers.

In the NT Budget 2025, $1.5m funding per year has been committed to the establishment of the DFSV Training and Resource Centre from 2025/26.
