Activity details
$6.8 million over 3 years from 2025-26 to expand the Supporting Children After Separation Program (SCASP) to provide specialised, longer-term support for children of separated families affected by family violence who are already engaged in counselling support within SCASP, to avoid needing to transfer those cases to a SFVS.
Implementation progress update
As at 1 July 2025, the majority of grant recipients were expecting to be able to commence providing additional support services to children of separated families affected by family violence. Services in more regional locations may take longer to commence service provision should they experience delays in recruitment.
