Activity details
Deliver enhanced housing service response for women and families experiencing domestic, family and sexual violence (DFSV) through a specialist response team, head leasing housing and flexible assistance packages.
Implementation progress update
Through the enhanced housing service response to women and families experiencing DFSV, tailored housing products and services were developed and implemented from 2020. These products and services have been successfully transitioned to business as usual from 2024-25.
In 2024-25, the enhanced housing service response delivered:
- help with the cost of goods and services needed immediately to secure or maintain safe housing through the Flexible Assistance Package to 783 households
- head leased housing from the private market to 205 women and their families who faced barriers to renting in the private market due to experiencing DFSV.
